 Set 1. Counties of British Isles – set of 25 coloured cards showing one county with a typical occupation and description of that county on reverse. John Player & Sons, c. 1914.


 

Set 2. Products of the World – set of 25 cards with a country depicted (map) and a typical product / occupation and description on back. John Player & Sons, believed to be from 1908/1909.

Set 3. Set of Flags of the League of Nations issued by John Player and Sons (50 cards 1928).; 

Set 4. Struggle for Existence issued by John Player and Sons (25 cards 1923). Wild flowers but with interesting names and descriptions of their properties.

Set 5. Railway Equipment issued by W D and H O Wills (50 cards 1939). 

Set 6. Ceylon Tea issued by Ceylon Tea Centre (Series A 25 cards) issued 1955; 

Plus 10 odd map cards from different sets:

 Single card from Ogden´s Cyclist´s Sectional Map (North Devon with paper sticker on reverse) series 1910.

Two cards from Milhoff´s London and the Home Counties sectional map series from the 1930s (Earls Colne and Epping). These seem to be comparably rare (only one part-set found on internet).

 

Cards come in a special Cigarette Card album (dark blue) with appropriate sleeves. Seven empty for 70/140 new cards.
